When Kate and John Coleman lose the baby they were waiting for, everything collapses around them. 
To try to regain normalcy, the couple goes to a local orphanage with the intention of adopting a child.


There they are strangely attracted to Esther, a girl with an angelic face

. But when the girl arrives at Coleman's house, strange things begin to happen, and Kate realizes that Esther hides a terrible secret.
