Shining Questions

1 Why exactly is this film and the book it was based upon called "The Shining".

2 What exactly happened to Jack ,why is he in that picture at the end of the movie.

3 Who hurt Danny after his visit to room 237.

4 After saying that he would sell his soul for just one beer, Jack looks up and greets the barman Lloyd. Since this was Jack's first time at the hotel, how could he have known the barman's name.

5 why or what is actually possessing the Overlook Hotel,also, why do the said possessors want to drive Jack Torrance insane.

6 Why is the significance of the man in the Chipmunk costume with the man in tuxedo seen by Wendy in the bedroom , are they supposed to be doing.

7 "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" is supposed to be scary, but I don't understand. Why is it scary and what does it mean.

8 Who is Tony.

9 We see Jack in the picture at the end of the film which was painted in 1921 which I guess means that Nicholson was either possessed or reincarnated...but does anyone have a definite answer, or does Kubrick just want us to decide for ourselves.

10 Why is the old woman in room 237 and what is her significance.

11 Does Danny's ability to "shine" have any connection to Jack's insanity and the events that occur in the hotel.

12 If Jack is a reincarnation, how does he not know Danny possesses the shining,the other ghosts, such as Delbert Grady, who have always been there, can see Danny's talent. If Jack has always been there, how come he can't see what Grady sees.

My favorite photo

This photo transmits a lot of sadness, but at the same time happiness and longing.

Seeing this photograph come to my mind a lot of memories of my childhood.

The image shows the poverty and culture that the Bolivian people have. If I had to describe it, I would start with the girl, the smile she keeps and the feelings she conveys.

The girl wears the typical dress of Bolivia,

Not only expresses happiness, but also feel the duty to help and give a hand.

The traditional clothes that are still with their origins and still follow their beliefs, which is a country which continue to have and maintain their beautiful cultures.

In Bolivia before and even at this time, children or babies are still filled.

When Kate and John Coleman lose the baby they were waiting for, everything collapses around them. 
To try to regain normalcy, the couple goes to a local orphanage with the intention of adopting a child.


There they are strangely attracted to Esther, a girl with an angelic face
